Nina & Ian’s wedding in Koh Samui, Thailand

It wasn’t easy getting through airport security checks on our journey to Nina & Ian’s wedding in Koh Samui, Thailand. We packed close to the maximum baggage allowance (both in hand-carry and check-in baggage), and when we arrived in Bangkok, the boys realised they didn’t leave enough room to pack enough underwear or clothes for the rest of the trip haha. We arrived on the island the day before Nina & Ian’s wedding,  and met up with them to scout the wedding venue and to do a finale run-down. There was nothing mediocre about Nina & Ian’s wedding. Nina & Ian’s closest family and friends flew in from all over the world for their wedding, mostly from the UK and Australia. Even though they hadn’t seen many of their family and friends in such a long time, you could tell that they shared such an unbreakable bond with each and every one of their guests. Nina & Ian have the kind of friends that really look after each other. And it reminded me that you can really get to know someone by getting to know their friends and loved ones. Seeing the love-ness between them and their guests really reflected who Nina & Ian are… the most loving,  bubbly couple bottled up with a bit of cheekiness and oh so sexy (can’t resist the British accent). Our trip to Thailand was a very heart-warming, and lasting experience. Thank you Mr & Mrs G. for sharing your stories with us. We will treasure them forever.

The sunset was more than what we could ever ask for. It turned shades of romantic pinks, purples and then into warm oranges. And after all the meals had been served, the guests moved towards the beach and relaxed at the bar for a brief moment while the amazing staff at Baan Kilee transformed the area into an awesome dance floor! The speed at which they cleared the tables, chairs and fitted new decorations was incredible!  And for the grand finale, we witnessed a breathtaking show of fireworks on the beach.

Nina + Ian’s Wedding Highlight Reel (Video) in Thailand

Our team travelled close to 50,000km between the three of us to cover the footages show in this video. The wedding was held at Baan Kilee, situated on the Lipa Noi Beach on the unspoilt west coast of Koh Samui Island looking out towards beautiful sunsets. Guests flew in from all over the world to celebrate the union of these two very awesome people. For now, I’ll leave you with their wedding day highlight reel. And I’ll blog more about their wedding in the upcoming post with their wedding photos!

After showing you Part 1 The Prewedding video (for those who haven’t seen it yet, it’s here vimeo.com/41098061). Here comes Part 2 (the actual Wedding day Highlight Reel).

We all had a great time, thank you Nina & Ian for your hospitality, love and support.

Cassie & Elliott tie the knot at Coolibah Downs

We first met Cassie about a year ago, and she brought along her beautiful little boy Jack. He played with our puppy Canon through the glass and was really fond of hiding my Iphone around the studio. I mistakenly thought he was already about 3 years old. It was only until we met Elliot later on that we understood how Jack got to be so tall for his age. Fast forwarding to a year later…on Cassie & Elliot’s wedding day, Jack was already walking by himself and wore a cute little suit! Time flies…..it really does. And it reminds me that we should often take the time to treasure those we love. Too often we are so immersed in our own ventures to stop and appreciate what life has to offer. There is no return, no warranties and no exchanges for time passed. I like to think that for a brief moment in Cassie & Elliot’s life, I have stopped time for just long enough to capture  something of value. If you happen to find another way to stop time, I’d suggest that you bottle it quickly and register a patent. It might be your ticket to becoming the next billionaire and put me out of business.

Rebecca + Scott Engaged

I know I was supposed to catch up on my blogging light years ago…and here I am at 4.39am..5.22am where all these ideas are running through my head…but I’ll be living off borrowed time if I even had the chance to sit down to think about it properly…less talking the talk..more walking the walk. I’m giving our website a brand spanking new makeover. Hi I’m Chad and I’m a work-a-holic. And some people would tell me to slow down…My system is running on low sleep and high dosages of caffeine and it’s been all GO. But that’s how I roll. And I do it pretty damn well.

2012 has been so hectic up until now… in the first few months of the year…we’ve been to Thailand and back…we have shiny new albums, we’ve expanded our team…and we’ve been wayyy over capacity for the month of March (still feeling the March-after-effects). It’s crazy here…and it’s getting even crazier!…But I thrive on keeping myself busy. Hi I’m Chad the work-a-holic…. and blogging is the chance for me to breathe.  stop. start again fresh.

Aside from my mental organisation…..

Congrats to Bec + Scott who have been recently engaged! If you happened to have a copy of the Courier Mail on April 28, you’ll see that Bec’s lovely parents put an announcement in the Courier Mail of their engagement featuring one of the photos from this blog post 🙂 We had planned a valentines, vintage inspired shoot together (okay, the valentines theme gave away the fact that I have been really slack with updating our blog- apologies to the moon and back!)…and I stayed up the evening before to bake cupcakes…admittedly, not all of them made it into the shoot…some of them were kidnapped by someone in my household with the midnight munchies, and some of them didn’t survive the aesthetics test. I’m not sure how good they tasted, but Bec & Scott were nice enough to smile through eating them…The photos are proof of the pudding….haha. Anyway..don’t comment on my culinary skills …I know that I can’t cook/bake even if my life depended on it.

Many thanks also to Point of Difference for supplying some of the props.
